Norah is credited for her work with multiple TV personalities on ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, CNBC and local Public Broadcasting stations. Her special requests include Washington’s elite hotel clients, Lifestyle TV shows and cast, movie stars and Miss D.C. and Miss World pageant finalists. The referrals throughout her career have resulted in her providing services as a traveling stylist and makeup artist to dignitaries, heads of state, ambassadors and politicians.
Norah’s time as both a former member of the DC Board of Barber and Cosmetology and the Chairman of the Practitioners Forum Committee has given her insight on the licensing and regulation of the salon and salon services performed on the consumers. Norah continues to educate herself by attending multiple courses throughout the year to keep abreast of the latest techniques and styles.
In recent years Norah has chosen to use her talents by giving back to her community by being a certified facilitator of the Look Good Feel Better Foundation working with cancer patients on image, makeup, skincare, wig and scarf uses. She guides cancer patients on how to cope with appearance related side effects of their treatments to regain their sense of confidence and self-esteem.
